Acer palmatum Dissectum is a deciduous garden shrub with a small, mound-forming habit. The foliage consists of highly ornate, deeply dissected leaves that initially presents as a strong lime green colour. This colour lasts throughout spring and summer, before turning to a striking blend of golden yellow and orange, for a burst of vibrant colour late in the year.
This japanese maple prefers to be planted in a sheltered position, prolonged exposure to full sun could damage the plant so some shelter is preferred. Dissectum can tolerate most soil types, so long as the planting area is moist, but well-drained. We would like to remind customers that the images are for illustration purposes only. Due to the deciduous nature of this plant, your tree may arrive without leaves depending on the time of year.
