Acer 'Inaba-Shidare'

Inaba-shidare is an extremely attractive acer variety, presenting gorgeous deciduous foliage for the majority of the year. The long feathery leaves of this plant display an upright mound of colour, with striking purple red foliage from early spring into summer. The foliage will eventually mature into a vivd scarlet-red, making it an ideal point of interest in your garden.

This japanese maple prefers to be planted in a partially shaded position, prolonged exposure to full sun could damage the plant so some shelter is preferred.
