Acer 'Shishigashira'

Acer palmatum Shishi-gashira, commonly known as Japanese maple, is a deciduous, bushy shrub with dense masses of small, dark green leaves that will turn to a soft orange hue come autumn.

Perfect for a feature garden plant or patio shrub in a pot, Acer Shishi-gashira’s highly ornamental foliage and striking columnar shape with upright habit make it a striking choice for any space.

The tree’s attractively shaped canopy and oriental appearance will lend a fantastic touch of colour for the majority of the year.

If grown in a large pot, make sure the tree is kept well watered. Shelter your Acer from frosty winds in the colder months.
